I read the news today, oh boy...

Today's Star-Telegram devotes both Op/Ed pages to Memorial Day. Two pages filled with the names of U.S. troops killed in action since 9/11/01. Twelve columns of names in tiny type. So much heartache. Too much loss.

The point of the list is to get us to pause, to take a moment to remember all those who gave their lives. For me, it's yet another reminder to pray for these families who have lost loved ones.

At the same time, we're also praying for our troops still in danger overseas.

Please, God, keep them safe and return them to us quickly.

Did you do the computer yesterday? If you did I hope you didn't tear up like me. It really got to me singing those patriotic songs, and seeing many men in the audience wiping tears away, young and old. I have never heard such good loud singing at first service.
Thanks for posting that site.
