RHS game 5.

Go REBS! We were back in our home stadium on Sept. 30 for the most feared event in all of high school football: the dreaded Thursday night game. Dun, dun, DUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNN!

When the other school's drill team took the field, it was surprising to see three guys on their squad. While it's certainly a novelty, I loved that these guys (especially the officer, above) were able to show off their obvious dancing talent. (It was appalling to hear some of the parents' jeers and wisecracks, though. I guess I was wrong to think parents would realize that these are high school kids—the same age as their own children—that they're mocking.)

Then the RHS drill team presented their "Bob and Sue" routine. It was fun to see the dads out there with their daughters.

Finally, the show we were there to see began: "Distant Shores"!

Even though it kept us up late on a school night, the game was a fun one: Rebs won, 31-14!
