Jog for Jacey.

 Jan. 14, 2012

It sounded like such a good idea: run a 5K to support an injured student at a neighboring school.

In actuality, it WAS a great cause and we had a good time, but the race start was at early-30, and it was cold as a booger out there!

I wore long underwear under my sweats. Like a NINJA.
(Ryan and Katie both told me that only teenagers are supposed to take pictures like this. Go figure.)

Bundled up and ready to run!

Katie and I did the 1 mile fun run. Afterwards, we warmed up in the car while Brett ran the 5K.

 Here he comes...

 barreling toward the finish line...

 making the Flash proud!

Another shadow portrait, this time with Katie.

We also got to see our friends finish the 5K. They're rock stars!

It turned out to be a gorgeous day, we got some exercise and were able to visit with some friends, and most importantly, we raised some money for Jacey to help her recover from a Christmas car accident.
