Cold hands, warm heart.

This morning was the women's brunch at HCC. About 350 women attended this year's event.
Hostesses sponsor and decorate tables, and their creativity is impressive.
From country to classic, from high fashion to down-home, these women really show off their tastes and talents.
This year, our guest speaker was Thelma Wells, formerly of Women of Faith:
Then we had musical entertainment provided by our own talented vocalists:
I was lucky enough to get to sit at Mistee's snowman table:
Who would've thought it'd be cold enough to keep real snowmen frozen on that table? At least Mistee was prepared for the sub-freezing temps there in the Family Center!
Thank goodness for the heartwarming entertainment and message, and thank goodness for all the women who worked so hard to make this brunch happen. And thanks, Mistee, for letting me "chill" at your table!

I had a great time and am so glad you took pictures! Mistee did a great job on her table - as did all of the other ladies. I am not that creative. Don't be surprised if you see a "Convenience Store" themed table if I sponsor one next year...

I knew I could count on you for some great pictures. I even had my camera and didn't take any pictures. I am linking your blog to my post. My hands are just cold thinking about it.
