Texas game 7: Kansas

Oct. 29, 2011

This Austin visit began with lunch at one of Dede's most-sought-after destinations: Flip Happy Crepes! It was delicious and so very Austin to have lunch at one of the many food trailers around town.

From there we joined up with the tailgating crew before sliding into Section 1 to see Texas wallop Kansas.

This week, the Horns carried several awareness flags
with them in addition to the U.S. and Texas flags.

It was so nice to have Mike (our usher) back after an illness!

Ash looks for an open receiver...

and then calls his own number! Touchdown, Texas!

Double Script Texas? Nifty!

Love, love, love Alumni Band Day.

And who doesn't love Baton Guy?

I remember when the LHB won the Sudler Trophy. I was a freshman
sitting in the east stands when the Tower was lit in the band's honor.
Back then the Tower was visible from those seats. It was a rush to
see the big ol' Number 1 appear at that very moment!

Happiness is an orange Tower.

The stars at night are big and bright...
