Let it snow, S-N-O-W, snow.

What a nice midweek surprise! Our little snowstorm gave us a light blanket of the white stuff but no hazardous road conditions.
We didn't even have to scrape ice off the windshields, but we had enough snow build up on the cars
and just enough on the yard for us to be able to tell that it really was snowing on Dec. 2!

Even though the roads were just wet and not icy, we still had tons of traffic on the way to school. Katie and I were stuck on this road FOREVER! We didn't want to be late because Wednesday was
SPELLING BEE DAY!
Both kids had qualified for their school's bee, and since it was early in the day, I was lucky enough to attend.
I just THOUGHT I was nervous when Katie was in the district spelling bee last year. Having TWO kids competing meant I got butterflies in my stomach TWICE in each round! Goodness, that was tough!
Both kids are phenomenal spellers, and we are so proud of them!
