Hooked on music camp.

This year's children's musical is a whopper, and that's no fish tale! Actually, it IS "Fish Tales." And like the other Kathie Hill productions we've done, it has its share of catchy tunas—I mean, TUNES.

The dialogue's pretty punny, too. Several of the scenes really string along the fishing puns, and they remind me of Kip Addotta's novelty hit from the '80s with the suggestive title. Here's a sample verse:

Well, the place was crowded
We were packed in like sardines
They were all there to listen to the big band sounds of Tommy Dorsal --what sole
Tommy was rockin' the place with a very popular tuna -- "Salmon Chanted Evening"
And the stage was surrounded by screaming groupers
Probably there to see the bass player

Fortunately, "Fish Tales" isn't nearly as PUNishing as that old ditty.
